How Seedance 2.5 API collects, uses, and protects your data

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Seedance 2.5 API ("we", "us", "the Service"), operated at seedance25api.com, collects, uses, and protects your information. Seedance 2.5 API is an AI video generation service: you provide text prompts and optional reference media, and we generate videos (text-to-video, image-to-video, multi-shot, with native audio, up to 4K resolution) using the Seedance 2.5 model.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: Your name and email address, collected through our authentication system (Better Auth) when you register or sign in (including via Google sign-in).
  • Generation inputs: The text prompts you write and any reference images or media you upload to guide a generation.
  • Generated outputs: The videos produced by your requests, stored so you can preview and download them.
  • Billing data: Your credit balance and payment metadata (such as transaction IDs and subscription status). Card details are handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe and/or Creem) and are never stored on our servers.
  • Usage and security logs: Technical information such as IP address, browser type, request timestamps, and feature usage, used to operate the service, prevent abuse, and debug issues.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide video generation and deliver your generated outputs
  • To manage your account, credits, and payments
  • To provide customer support
  • To monitor, secure, and improve the Service
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues
  • To send you essential service and transactional emails

Subprocessors and Third Parties

We share data with the following providers only as needed to run the Service:

  • Cloudflare — hosting (Workers), database (D1), and file storage (R2)
  • ByteDance Seedance, accessed via reAPI — the model that generates your videos; your prompts and reference media are sent there to fulfill a generation
  • Stripe and/or Creem — payment processing
  • Cloudflare Email — transactional email delivery
  • Resend — mailing-list management, when the newsletter is enabled

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third-party advertising networks.

Data Retention

Generated tasks and their output videos remain available in your dashboard for approximately 7 days, after which they may be removed from active storage. Account and billing records are retained as long as your account is active or as required to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Your Rights

You can access and update your account information at any time from your settings. You may delete your account directly in the app, which removes your account data; you can also contact us to request access or deletion. Some records may be retained where required by law.

Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised date.
